The breakdown of medical seats are as follows-
In total of 216 government colleges, the total seat are 30,455
In total of 247 private colleges including deeemed universities, the total intake is 36,165
In the 2 central universities, there is total 151 seats.
Total seats through NEET are 66771 in all the 465 mentioned colleges above.
Including 15 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER, the seats for these are 1407, the grand total becomes 68,241 seats overall.
