Hello!!

For getting an admission into any old NITs into your desired branch,then you have score a mark in the range 180-200 to secure a seat and for getting an admission into new NITs,the a mark in the range 120-140 would be sufficient.This range may vary and can have a slight increase or decrease as it is based on the no. of applicants applying,difficulty of the exam etc..

To get a seat in top most NITs (NIT Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal, Allahabad, Raurkela etc.) of India, you need to secure a rank within 8000. For this, you need to score at least 250+ marks out of 360 in Jee Main.
