You must receive at least 25% of the total marks, or 40 out of 160, in order to be eligible for a rank in the TS EAMCET (formerly TS EAPCET). Better rankings result from higher scores: You often place in the top 50 with 160–155 points, in the top 1,000 with 140+ marks, and in the 2,000–4,000 range with 120–130 marks.
