how many marks will be compulsory for jee mains selection

Last years of jee exams predicts that cut off marks are :

• General :105-110
• Obc : 80-85
• SC st : 40-50

I don't know what selection in JEE Mains infers to you whether it is getting selected for writing JEE Advanced or getting selected in any NIT ,thus these are different criteria. For getting selected to write JEE Advanced, minimum cutoff required differs every year but on average it's like
Gen 110
OBC 85
SC 55
But for getting rank in JEE Mains rank list no such minimum requirement is there ,even if you score 0 you will get certain rank but in lakhs.

it will be depended on the present year highest marks in year 2015 when i was in +2 jee mains qualifying mark for general was 102-110 for obc 69 sc and st below 30 so it will differs year wise

The minimum cutoff mark that you need to qualify in the entrance exam varies from year and also category-wise. Last year the cutoff for different categories were:

• General - 81
• OBC-NCL - 49
• SC - 32
• ST - 27
