There is 18 govt mbbs colleges. 2 colleges open this year only. These all 18 colleges will take admission this year.

There have been 5 new Medical Colleges that have been given permission from this Academic year. All these colleges together add around 650 medical seats to the already existing pool. All these seats are distributed according to the existing Reservation system and all colleges will start admissions from this year. That has been the plan all along.
