How many score in all categories to pass neet exam
Answers (6)
Hii, As per your query about score to pass neet.. I would like to tell you it varies every year... It depends on lots of factors like difficulty level of paper and number of students getting that mark etc... It also depends on.. It will be different for Government, Private and Deemed medical colleges.... Also it will differ you applying from All india quota 15% or State quota 85%... Cut off of state quota is usually lower than all india quota...
no one can predict such things. We dont know how a student is studying in some distance of this vast country. But there are always some safer scores which can be predicted.
Overall if you want to know if you are on the safer side or not, try scoring 520+.
Hope its helps you.

Okay to pass neet exam you need 45 percentile in reserved categories and 50 in UR. But to get admission in a govt. Medical college it is necessary that you score above the cut off marks of ai counselling which is normally around 470 in UR(Last year it was above 500). So making it very clear that just passing neet willn't do you ant good unless you want to take admission in a private medical college.
Even just qualifying for ai counselling doesn't guarantee your admission in a gmc. You need to score a min. Of 520 ( acc. To last year's result it should be above 570) for the same.
All the best.

The cut-offs for NEET 2017 are as follows
UR- 360
OBC/ST/SC- 288
UR PH- 324
OBC/ST/SC PH- 288
Same for past few years.
For AIQ, the marks to get a seat in UR are much higher than the qualifying cut off. This year the AIQ seats were filled at and around 550+ for MBBS. Cut off for BDS is less.
Seats filled by 85% seat quota are filled at lower marks.

If you consider the cut off scores of NEET-UG under various categories for the year 2017, I've listed them below: (the maximum marks are 720)
UNRESERVED : 360
OBC/SC/ST: 288
UR-PH: 324
OBC/SC/ST-PH: 288
While the cut off marks seem to be pretty much achievable, they might not help you grab a seat under All India 15% quota. Seats under 85% quota of the state also offer little relaxation in scores, so you need to be competitive enough.
If you belong to general category, a score of 580 and above will fetch you a seat in some government medical college.
