Hi friend,
There are many students who have not got permission to sit for the exams due to shortage of attendance. As per the Supreme Court direction, if a student fails to get 75% attendance, he/she will not be allowed to sit for the exams and there is no penalty clause.
If the student has failed to get the required attendance due to health problems, providing permission for him/her to sit for the exams depends on the principal of the institute concerned. If the principal is convinced of the reason and documents provided, he/she can permit such students to sit for the exams.
