If we see the past year data of NEET 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 all we can conclude is that, marks do not matter anymore, rather candidate rank in NEET will be deciding factor in getting admission in government medical college/university.
For getting admission in government Medical college, a general aspirant must get 520+ marks where for dental government college, 450+ would suffice.

If you are applying under state Quota, you must have a score of at least 550 and above if you want to be assured to have a seat in the government medical college. If you are applying through All India Quota, you must have a score of 600 or above.
