The qualifying examination for CUSAT CAT 2018 is 10+2 or an equivalent examination. For B. Tech courses you need to have scored 50% in Mathematics and 50% in Mathematics Physics and Chemistry put together to appear in the exam. Also, you need to be less than 25 years of age as on 1st September 2018.
For Instrumentation engineering candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks in PCM put together with at least 55% marks in Mathematics separately.
For B.Tech Naval Architecture & Ship Building a minimum aggregate of 50% must have been secured by the candidates in PCM put together and also in Mathematics separately.
For B.Tech Polymer Science and Engineering students have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in PCM put together.
For B.Tech Marine Engineering candidates must secure an average of not less than 60% marks in PCM and minimum 50% marks in Mathematics alone. Candidates must also pass English in class 10 and 12 with 50% marks irrespective of categories.
