Hello Aspirant.
The minimum aggregate scored by any candidate in class 12th to get admission into NIT through JEE mains is
General- 75%
OBC/SC/ST- 65%
It's just the eligibility criteria. You'll be allotted NIT based on your JEE Main scores. The more you score the more are your chances to get into an NIT.

Hi!
According to JoSAA Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have scored at least an aggregate of 75% marks in their 12th standard qualifying examination.
And For SC/ ST and OBC the eligibility is to obtain a minimum of 65% marks in class 12 or equivalent.
