The counselling authority releases the cutoff after completion of the exam. So it is difficult to predict. The opening and closing rank is different for different institutes. The cut-off is based on the number of aspirants as well as their performance etc. Only the rank of JEE Main paper 2 is required. According to past year patterns, if you get a rank under 3000 in JEE Mains paper 2 you may get a seat in any NITs. The home state and other state quota is also there.
