how much rank should get in NIT

NIT is one of the most renowned engineering colleges in India.

The Eligibility criteria is as follows:

1) Candidates need to score minimum of 75% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 60% in each subject.

2) Candidates have to qualify is JEE Mains and depending on the number of students who have answered the exams and the number of student who have qualified are selected to answer JEE Advanced.

3) The Candidate must qualify with the highest rank possible. That is

Students with rank above 1500 are offered to join IIT but students having rank between 2000-3000 usually get the option to join NIT.

So keep in mind, that your rank should be high inorder to have better chances to get into NIT.
