You should aim above the mark, as to hit the mark. Your main focus should be to secure maximum marks which could bag up.

The exam is of 200 marks, out of which you have to secure 175+ marks as to get a seat in JIMPER. As the level of questions is easy, so cut-offs are also sky touching. You should be clear with the basic understanding of concepts, practice more and more questions. Also, analyze yourself by solving mock tests and previous year papers.

Hi Suresh,

JIPMER MBBS requires a candidate belonging to the general category to obtain a qualifying percentile of 50 while those belonging to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes to obtain a qualifying percentile of 40. The cut off for 2018 cannot be exactly predicted as the number of aspirants and the difficulty of the question paper changes year to year. The cut-off closing ranks also change accordingly.
