Hello Dear

See here you need to understand that thee are many types of government institutions in India like state government institutions / NIT / CFTI / IIIT / IIT through which can get via the JEE mains or IIT-JEE entrance exam and each and every college have the different set of cuttoff for the various domain in the College.

Hi Dishan Pramanik,

Marks in mains is not the correct parameter to decide that you will get a seat in any colleges under mains(government colleges). we can decide it by your rank.

if your rank is below 28k(most accurately) in jee mains, then you can get a seat in government colleges under mains. (max up to the second round of counseling)

But try to get below 20k at least because you have good range choices in your hand and opt for the course which you are interested in.

Marks VS rank changes every year, but Rank VS college doesn’t change much.
