The Sailors can write UPSC exmas like CDS and NDA. If they get selected they can get the post of an officer.
Also the sailors who meet eligibilities cam also join Commission Worthy scheme to become officers. For this scheme, there are few chances as age plays an important role.
Also there is a scheme called Special Duties which is later in yhe service.

Yes you can become. Any person who is enrolled in armed forces as an SSR can become a commissioned officer on meeting the eligibility criteria. Unique leadership qualities and fulfill requisite conditions in terms of age, education etc can aspire to become commissioned officer. After graduation you can apply for the commissioned officer and go through the interview.
