how to become a IFS officer? & what important skills are needed for this job ?

In order to become IFS officer you have to give UPSC exam and pass the three phases of UPSC exam. In order to pass the exam one must be graduate from any field and must be minimum 21 years old.
IFS represent the country in foreign land. It is diplomatic service and it deals with external affairs of country.
You should have following skills in order to become IFS -
• Knowledge of intrenational realtions
• Communication skills and decision making ability
• Leadership ability
• One who is up to date about national affairs

to become an IFS officier , you first need to hold a bachelors degree in any dicipline form any recognized university, then you need to crack the civiil service examination , there are three level of civil service examination
1. preliminary examination
2. mains examination
3. interview
