How to become a Junior Research Fellow through CSIR NET?

To become a Junior Research Fellow through CSIR NET, candidates must qualify the entrance examination with the cutoff marks. After the results are declared, a candidate can either go for the research at CSIR labs or any other research organization where the post are available. The list will be declared after the results have been declared. Candiates also receive the funding for the same.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) conducts the CSIR NET exam on the bi-yearly basis for science stream students only to examine the knowledge required for holding the position of Lecturers/professors/ associates/ research fellows
By qualifying CSIR NET JRF Exam you can easily appoint as a researcher in top reputed research centres and government laboratories.
But to appear in CSIR NET exam for JRF, you should have masters’ degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks if you are from General/OBC category or if you belong to SC/ST/PwD category then you will get 5% relaxation in aggregate marks of post-graduation and your age must not more than 28 years. SC/ST/PwD/OBC/female candidates get 5 years’ relaxation.
