To become a veterinary doctor, you need to complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology after your Class 10 (CBSE or any recognised board), then appear for the NEET-UG , as admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry ( BVSc & A.H.) course. Admission to the veterinary course is generally based on the score in the entrance exam and NEET counselling conducted by the Veterinary Council of India. After completing the 5.5-year BVSc degree (including internship), you can register with the State Veterinary Council and work in government sector departments, research centres, and others.
