Here are few steps in a broader way for you to become a heart surgeon:-
- Opt for Physics Chemistry and Biology in your pluss two.
- Get a good score, minimum 50% in these three subjects.
- Apply for NEET-UG exam, entrance exam for under-graduation in medicine and surgery course, MBBS.
- Try to score a 550+ score in NEET to get a good medical college.
- Study there the MBBS course.
- Apply for NEET-PG.
- Admission into post graduation course and chose heart specialization there.

Aayush, you need to appear for NEET to study MBBS. To be eligible for NEET which is the sole entrance examination, you should have completed your 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and you should score a minimum aggregate if 50% in these 3 subjects. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC, SC,ST. NEET us the entrance exam for studying MBBS both in India and abroad. After qualifying in NEET and completing MBBS alobg with 1 year mandatory internship, you should appear for relevant entrance examination to study MS Cardio. Right now it is NEET PG but it will be scrapped off in the next 3 years.
