Stockist is a retailer/wholesale person who holds stocks of products or components and replacements for a particular manufacturer.

Since it is not an educational qualification, there is no such eligibility for the occupation. However, there are some skills required for the same :

• Planning and evaluation.
• Communication skills and listening skills
• Industry expertise
• Deep knowledge of the products
• Selling or business skills.

This job has considerable risks, but, if you establish yourself, it'll be much rewarding. The pay scale depends on the type of company and type of industry you're interested in.
