You need to work hard for improving your coding skills, it's not a one day task you have to spend time one it. You can see tutorial videos and read books such as " let's C". Here are the some tips that can improve your coding skills:

1. Declare all variables.
2. Declare variable types specifically.
3. Watch references.
4. Put Break statements in your Evaluate statements.
5. Govern your state.
6. Isolate common expressions.
7. Avoid implicit conversions. .
8. Choose the right SQL style.
