Hello Lakshmi,

The procedure is simple, appear for the exam, crack the respective cut-off, appear for the counselling and get admission.

It depends if you are wanting to take admission in UG, you will have to clear JEE main and JEE Advance, while there are other exams such as GATE, IIT JAM, etc, if you want to join after graduation, that is in Masters.

Hello!!

You should have appeared for 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination after 2017 and you must have scored at least 75% aggregate marks in 12th standard (or equivalent) examination atleast 65% aggregate marks if you belong to SC/ST/PwD.You have to first apply for JEE mains exam and you must qualify that exam by securing marks above the cutoff required and then you must apply for JEE advanced.If you qualify your JEE advanced and if the rank secured by you is below the closing rank of any IIT of your preference,then you will get an admission into an IIT!
