The admission into undergraduate program for National institute of technology is offered by the rank secured in joint entrance exam main.

the JEE main exam is conducted by National testing agency for NTA and it is conducted twice a year once in the month of January and other in the month of April and best of the two performances counted for the rank calculation.

The pattern for JEE main exam is 25 question is from physics chemistry and mathematics out of the 25 ,20 are objective type question with single correct answer and five numerical answer type question.

To get admission into NIT you must get a rank below 30000 if you are from general category.

once you got a good rank in JEE main you need to appear for the counselling organised by joint seat allocation authority.
