How to join the IIT collages?Please tell me the procedure.

If you are a 10+2 student then you have to appear and crack for JEE-MAIN & then have to crack JEE-ADVANCE to join IIT colleges. Then go for councilling and choose in which IIT you want to go.

If you cannot crack JEE-MAIN you'll not eligible for JEE-ADVANCE.

You have to fillup exam-form 2 times 1st time for MAIN & 2nd time for ADVANCE.

& If you are a B.Sc. student then you should crack JAM exam.

In order to take admission in the IIT colleges you would be required to take the JEE Advanced exam.

To be eligilbe to take admission in an IIT you must have scored a minimum of 75% marks in the qualifying exams and also qualify in JEE Main 2019 OR you must be in the top 20 percentile of their 10+2 board.

After you are qualified to take the JEE advanced test, your chances for admission in an IIT will depend in your rank. Given below is the link to find out the cut off for various branches in IITs. You would require a rank and marks around this range.
