Hi rudrani, since you are in tenth you can start taking small steps towards preparing for neet exam. First of all you need to cover and understand all the topics as they are taught in college. This is a must. What many of us do is, we study only when exams are closer. That works for some, doesn't work for others. Since you are in this preparation for the long haul, I recommend you to take the small steps approach. In your eleventh text book, almost all the chapters of physics and chemistry are the base builders of twelfth portion. For example to understand thermodynamics you need to remember the properties of elements, to understand covalency, you need to understand the properties of electrons and neutrons and the orbits and all. So while you finish the eleventh topics, I recommend you start digging into 12th books too and continue your understanding phase. Don't worry, you should spend only about four hours a day of studies every day. If you have coaching classes, make sure you understand the topics that they teach, come home practice for that day and then do whatever you want. Give your classes tests diligently. If you can, then solve physics numerical sums right from the beginning. While you are in 11th, I would want you to at least know and understand all the topics of 12th too. Make sure that 12 th whole year you are focusing on mocks and tests as much as possible. In 12 th you will not have enough time because of all the board exam, prelims, practicals, etc so you can only focus on one thing is tests, mocks, that's all. Good luck.
