Hello Damini,
10% EWS Quota would result in the reduction of seats offered to Non EWS general candidates. For example if there are 100 seats in a college for general category students then 10 seats out of the 100 would be allotted to EWS Students and the remaining would go to Non-EWS.
This would result in higher cut offs for selection and increased competetion.
