how wpuld category help in state quota counseling?

Dear Aspirant,

There are reserved seats for all the categories on which the candidates belonging to that category will get admission. For example there are 100 seats in a college, and you have 10 seats reserved for your category. If your general rank is 130, but category rank is say 6, then you can get admission despite your general rank being higher.
