A candidate can give JEE main examination just for 6 times in his life. It means you can attempt the JEE main examination of january and April over a span of 3 years.
So if you're able to clear the eligibility criteria for JEE main examination you'll be able to appear for it.
You just have 2 attempts left one of january and one of April.
