The news is talking about scrapping of neet-pg exam. According to the amendments, entry into PG programmes will be based on national exit test which is a common exam across the country. So the candidates won't have to appear for a separate exam after mbbs final exam for admission into pg courses.

NEET 2020 is going to be conducted in the year 2020.However, there is no official announcements yet when it is going to release the application.But it is supposed to be released by November 2019. And the exam will be conducted in the month of May.Kindly wait for official announcements.
No official announcement has been made by the NTA regarding the cancellation of NEET UG 2020. Also, it is impossible to cancel it as it is the only entrance test ( other than AIIMS & JIPMER ) for admission into medical colleges around India. So don't get too worried about it.
