I am a science student and want to do bsc .Is that good for me because want to join civil service( IAS )
Yes Abhishek, you are eligible. Subject/stream you choose doesn't matter in graduation. What matters is that for IMA and Naval Academy, you must be 19 to 24 years with a degree in any stream of graduation and Engineering Degree respectively. For Air Force and Officers Training Academy Men, the age group must be 20 to 24 and 19 to 25 years respectively plus candidates must have passed graduation degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering and graduation from any stream respectively.
So, it doesn't matter whether you pass your graduation in any stream. However, with Science/BSc./Engineering, you get more options out of the available in CDS exam, while for arts and other streams have limited scope - in IMA and OTA Men only.
Since you've taken PCM in your +2 , you can easily avail the Bsc courses available in various colleges.
