Yes, you can get admission in MBBS. The Assam NEET MBBS Admission 2018 has been conducted to grant admission to the 85% of total seats to the candidates who hold domicile in the state of Assam. Candidates appearing for Assam NEET MBBS/BDS Counselling 2018 are required to fulfil certain eligibility criteria. The Eligibility mentioned is mandatory and candidates failing to meet any of the listed criteria will be removed from the process. The eligibility criteria are as follows-
- The applicant should be registered citizen of Assam.
- The parent of the candidates must be living in Assam for not less than 20 years.
- The above condition will not be applicable to son/daughter of officers of All India Services working in Assam.
- Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at 10+2 standard.
- Applicant must have passed 10+2 with 60% aggregate marks and for the candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC the minimum required marks are 50%.
- The applicant must have studied from class 6 to 10 in the state of Assam.
- Candidate must not be above 24 years or below 17 years of age on December 31, 2018.
- For SC/ST Candidates: The upper age limit mentioned above is relaxed by 3 year.
