I am an engineering assistant in state government.if i get qualified in GATE ,can i do my Mtech in open ? do i get stipend for the course ?

Hello,
As per your requirement, i would say that as mentioned above, you are an engineering assistant in state government and you want to do mtech by qualifying gate. So you have to clear gate by clearring the cut off and you will be able to do mtech.
Now getting stipend while studying m tech would depend on which college you are doing mtevh as few collegr only provides stipends during mtech.
