As per the new NEET eligibility criteria, “study of Biology/Bio-technology as an additional subject at 10+2 level shall not be permissible”. It only debars candidates who did not opt for Biology in Class 11 but took it only in Class 12 to be able to appear for entrance examinations requiring Biology scores, along with those candidates who completed Class XII without Biology but opted for it later in compartment as an additional improvement paper to enhance their overall Class 12 score. If you study Biology in both Classes 11 and 12 nd secured an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you are eligible to apply.
