I am Ananya, I am currently studying in class 9 and my dream is to become an astronaut at ISRO, so can anyone guide me for this and can give some tips or strategy. I would be very thankful to you if u feel happy to answer my ques.
Hello Ananya,
As you said you study in class 9, you are required to complete 10+2 in physics, chemistry, maths and computer science.
Further you are required to appear in entrance examinations to get enrol in a bachelor's degree programme.
Major entrance examinations
JEE Main: Joint Entrance Examination Main
JEE Advanced: Joint Entrance Examination Advanced
You can opt for a B.Tech. in aerospace engineering and further start working to acquire a relevant work experience of a few years.
ISRO prefers to hire candidates from STEM field (physics, chemistry, engineering, biology, maths, computer science) with a relevant working experience of minimum 3 years. It prefers to hire pilots from Indian Air Force.

Dear Aspirant,
If you want to become an astronaut then you must try for air force as many ISRO astronauts are from Air Force. For that you should focus on science now and then Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and Computer Science in your XI and XII.
To join air force, you also have to be graduate first. I suggest you should go with engineering, preferably Aeronautical engineering. You can then join AF and then you can go for ISRO also.
The exams you must prepare for are:-
JEE main and Advanced
AFCAT
Hope this helps. Thank you.
