i am arts students. i have subjects political science, economics, english, mathematics can i take the test and i want to take journalism
Hi Prerna. Different colleges and universities have different eligibility criterias to give admissions. Similar is in the case of journalism. One's subjects or stream doesn't matter. But marks definitely matter. Usually the cut off for journalism varies from 50%- 89%. And please specify about the test that you want to take.
Hi Prerna,
If you doubt that an Arts student can’t study Journalism for under-graduation, then you’re mistaken. You can easily opt to study Journalism after your schooling. The stream you choose will not affect the college’s decision to select. But your marks and passion for Journalism definitely will. Most Journalism colleges have a variation of 50%-90% marks requirements for a successful admission. I suggest you study hard, and score good marks to gain admission in a reputed Journalism college.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
Can you please clarify your question?
Thank you!!!
Hello,
Can you clarify which test you are talking about?
Also, if you wish to take admission into an undergraduate journalism program, then you are definitely eligible to do so as the eligibility requirements for most journalism programs is 10+2 in any stream regardless of the subjects taken.
