I am aspiring to take admission in B.Tech. I am confused about deciding between a college or a course? What should I prefer?

You have to make your own decision. For example, every student wishes to join IIT but all is not well just by taking admission in any IIT or any other top institution. Students fail in IITs also. Many students have done very well from non- IITs also.
There is no guarantee that you will join a top college and everything will fall into your favour. You should join a college depending on what your career options are.
If you are looking for a job after B.Tech then you should look for a college with a good placement record. If you are looking for an academic/research kind of profile, you should take admission in your preferred branch.
If you are still confused, you can go for Computer Science Engineering or Electronics as they are more job oriented branches.
