I am confused between BA (H) Economics and LLB . I am weak in maths . What to do . Since I have 2 months people say u can practice maths.
For making a choice between the two course mentioned, here is some insight upon the difference between the two.
In BA Economic Hons the degree will revolve around Economics. You will get to study a detailed analysis of Markets, Economy, Distribution of Goods, Demand, Supply and much more. Whereas in Law you will get to study about various fields of law like Criminal law, Civil Law, Family Law, Company law and much more.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
While choosing between the two you should know that the career opportunities offered by both the courses do vary a lot.
In this field you will get to work with Analysis/Forecasting Firms, Stock Exchanges, Manufacturing Firms, Financial Institutions, Banks, International Trade Companies etc. Economics Graduated usually work as Job Sales Analyst, Economics Researcher, Economist, Customer Profit Analyst, Investment Analyst, Investment Administrator, etc
In case you plan to go for law you can go for litigation ie practicing as a lawyer in courts- District courts, High courts, Supreme court. You can also go for Judicial Services/Civil or Law services exams. You can also join the Corporate field and work with tip Law firms, MNCs etc.
To decide between the two, you must first look what where your area of interest lies as both the fields as very vast in their own terms and you will be able to excel only if you like what you get into.
Hence try to compare the subjects in both, work environment and content in both with you area of interest.
If you're still not clear you also have a choice to do both. As There are 2 types of law courses. 5 year law and 3 year law.
5 year integrated law course combines an Undergrad degree with law like BA LLb, BCOM LLb etc. So you can pursue a 5 year BA LLB degree which includes BA in Economic hons. Or the other option is that you pursue BA Economics Hons at first and them decide if you want to continue here or pursue law. If after completion of this you wish to do law, you can do a 3 year LLb course. It will take a total of 6 years then. But you wiill have the option to choose the field on between.

Hey, thank you for contacting us. To choose between Economics and LLB it is all up to you. Either one you choose you still have time to prepare for both. LLB is more professional, it is fixed and you will have to work under the law domain. But if you choose BA economics you will have a lot of choices after your bachelor. It is more flexible and gives you more freedom. If you are really into the law you should take up LLB without a second thought and not waste time. But if you are skeptical and wanna play it save you can take up BA economics. You can take LLB even after your BA. I hope this helped.
Best wishes
