I am Deepanjan Nandi. My higher secondary marks percentage is 58%.If i do BTech. What kind of problems will happen on placement time?
Dear aspirant,
First of all congratulations of clearing higher secondary. Now if you take B.tech there are certain difficulties you might face before reaching 4th year placement rounds. The first is maths, If you are weak at maths and it is below 60 then it;s going to be a much more awful scenario in B.tech as there are minimum 4 semisters of maths. And it will have triple integration forget single integration. If you had bifocal in electronics/cs and you scored below 60% in that then electronics and computers will be awfully hard for you too.
Finally let's talk about the placements, It will be decided by you final year project and somewhat your grades. Also the number of certificates you manage to accumulate will count a lot and if you can show your participation in tech fest/NSS or internship letter then you will face no difficulties at the interview.
thankyou
Hello Candidate,
It is not like if you have scored bad in higher secondary you can not or say should not do bTech. Your 12th percentages are only considered as eligibility criteria for admission or some times your scored might be calculated using it. THAT"S IT!! Believe me. No one's going to ask this to you during college or placement. Even in most of the colleges marks are given only eligibility weitage i.e. need more than 7.5 CGPA to sit in interview. Thats it. You will be judged on the basis of your talent ,you speciality( try to get it its useful) some weigtage is given to knowlege about subject as well(please dont take it that marks aren't important).
But most important thing is your passion for engineering. Most of you people are doing it for the sake of job or money , its good but if you are not interest in this field you need to dedicate yourself for this. As marks are not that important you will be judged on your knowledge about subject, not like schools that you got 80-90% thats it.
Hope it helps and you take a better decision.
