I am doing Bsc with physics hons. What I should do next to grab a package of 30-40 lacks per year?
If you are passionate about physics and research carrier, you can go for MSc Physics. (to clear the idea follow the link: Ayanendu Dutta's answer to Is MSc physics waste of time nowadays?)
You can go for interdisciplinary courses (MSc) like biophysics, biochemistry etc. These courses are very demandable.
You can go to National Brain Research Centre, Manesar (NBRC) to study Brain research. They have integrated PhD (after BSc physics) as well as PhD (after MSc physics) courses.
These are the straight study lines. For the first two points you can study in universities, then can pursue PhD. Also you can clear JEST to go for integrated PhD in research institutes. And in the third point, NBRC only takes through JEST.
Again, if you are interested in govt jobs then there are many technical jobs offered by Govt. of India which are only for the BSc physics students like Air-force, gun shell factory etc. To know about them regularly follow some job oriented magazines.
In the last, the most critical option is waiting for you, UPSC. This is not only for Physics graduate but for every graduate in any field.
