I am expecting a score of around 155-160 in JEE - Main 2020 - 8th January - Shift 1. What would be my expected percentile and rank. Also would that be enough for Computer Science branch in top NIT's ?

Hello Vijit
If you consider last year trend then our percentile will be around 93 to 95 which won't fetch you CS in top NIT's.
Last year a student got 200 in JEE mains but still got CSE in NIT Patna.

hello,
Total mark is 300 and your score is just 50% of it. It is not possible to get NIT at that score. You can go for government state engineering colleges which are also as good as any private college which high performance rates.
To be eligibile for NIT your rank should be below 50k and to get CSE branch rank should be as low as possible. Seats in every college is low and there are not large number of NITs as other government and private institutes are there.
This is why competition is high and NITs perform well and even BITs also performs well even being a private institute.
You can see the previous year cutoff of NITS and IIITs:-
