I am from maharashtra from NT-C , I know that I come under OBC-NCL category for admission at national colleges but do I have to make a seperate certificate of OBC or my NT-C certificate is okay. I aslo have NCL certificate but its NT-C. Please help me.
Hi
NT is state level reservation in the state of Maharashtra so I would suggest you to first check that you are in the central list of OBC or not.
The the direct link of OBC Central list is provided below
http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx
Just copy the above link and paste on the search bar of your browser and then search, you will get it and then check whether you are in the central list of OBC or not.
If you are in the Central list of OBC and your parents annual income is less than 8 lakh per annum then you are eligible for OBC NCL reservation in JEE main and josaa counselling otherwise not.
Also,
One should make sure that his or her obc ncl certificate is as per the format prescribed by josaa at its official website the link for which is provided below
https://josaa.nic.in/webinfocms/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=146&iii=Y
Now, NT certificate is not as per the prescribed format of obc ncl certificate by josaa. So,what you need to do is you can simply download the above format fill it on your own and then get it signed by the officials from where you got your nt certificate made .
