I am going to enter class 11 in a few months and i have interest in design field,I have opted for pcm as I've kept architecture as a backup in design doesn't work out. I am still unsure about pcm or arts as pcm is apparently very difficult n I dont knkwif I can handle it. but if I take arts I can't keep architecture as an option I feel very confused and scared
If you are almost certain that Design, whether Graphic, UI/UX , Fashion , or Product, is what truly excites you, and Architecture is just a safety option because you fear unemployment, then choosing Arts with Maths makes more sense. Design today is a growing and opportunity-rich field. Instead of investing your energy in struggling with subjects like organic chemistry, you could use that time to build a strong, impressive design portfolio that speaks for itself. When your skills and portfolio are solid, you won’t even feel the need for a backup. It is far better to excel in the Arts and secure admission into a reputed design school than to force yourself through PCM, score average marks, and gradually lose confidence in your creative strengths.
