i am in a confused state i took BA for upsc but now incase if i fail i dont have any backup but i have good interest in engineering and mba which to choose for better job security ? i am in last year of my BA
Dear Ajith, to be honest with you, studying B.Tech might not be an option at this point in time because it would be a detour and going backwards by 3 years. Now you can study MBA and choose a specialisation that will have scope in the near future. It can be IT, Business Analytics, Health Management, Project Management, etc. Because to study MBA you need to appear for any entrance exam like CAT, XAT, SNAP, ATMA, GMAT, etc. The eligibility criteria for these exams is that you should complete your Graduation with 50% in any stream. It is 50% for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories. So while you are preparing for UPSC, you can also complete your Masters. That way you have a sound backup plan.
