Hey Harshal,
You must decide what you want to do ahead based on you interest.
If you like studying and can afford to go for higher studies, then go for it. It will definitely be beneficial.
But if you want to do a job, then there is no issue with doing a job with 10-12k starting salary.
At present, almost everyone starts like this only.
And still, if you want to start with a higher salary Job, then prepare for GATE. You can get jobs in PSUs which have very high packages.
So first decide if you want to study or work.
If study, then go for it. If job, the go for it too.
Also, you can join some job with low salary for now and prepare for GATE 2021 along with it.
All the best!
Hope this helps!!

Dear Student
I hope this will help you
It all depends on your interest and the institute you are going to apply in. If you want to do your masters in electrical then you can choose power systems, power electronics, control systems etc as these are common courses available in most of the IITs and NITs. You can also go for electronics related subjects like electronics and instrumentation, VLSI, communication engineering etc but it depends on the institute that whether they will offer these courses to an electrical engineer. In most of the IITs and NITs there are some inter-disciplinary departments which offer courses in energy studies, water resources, renewable energy, material science etc. in which an electrical engineer can apply.
This was my opinion and final choice will be yours
THANK YOU
ALL THE VERY BEST.
