Nothing non-attending or dummy, it's just a name only. actually, there is regular admission of the child in school, the only condition is that the child will not go to the school daily. Everything is maintained like a regular school going kid. There is also a benefit of the school in this because the student pays the full fee without taking their service, like their teachers and classrooms etc.
I hope you understand about eligibility.

Hey shanya
It will be beneficial for you if you do your school regularly instead of Non-attending.
Rules may change.
All the best!!
Although at the last minute due to the court's intervention open school/NIOS students were granted eligibility for NEET 2018, i would suggest you do your class 11 and 12 from a regular school, as you cannot be sure if open school candidates will be allowed next year onwards.
Amajor NEET 2018 eligibility criteria change which has taken place is that NIOS board and open school students who were allowed to appear for NEET 2017 are not be allowed to appear for the exam from 2018 onwards.
You need to be registered will a board affiliated school.
