i am not allotted a college in 1st round of neet counselling. can i opt for the same colleges which i filled in first round for 2nd round ?

Hello Mansi, you can opt for the same colleges that you opted in Round 1. One reason why you are not allotted a particular seat or college in the Round 1 might be your marks are lesser for that seat for your Category. So opting for the same college has its benefits and demerits. In Round 2 if he cut off decreases, you can still get a seat in the same college and on the other hand, if it doesnt, it is of no use selecting the same college in Round 2 also.

Surely you can select the same colleges in Round 2 as well because after Round 1 allotment, many alloted students don't take in admission in their respective colleges, rather go through their State Quota applications unless and untill their rank is too good.
This creates opportunities for those who couldn't get a seat in Round 1 because seats are left vacant.
You can apply for them assuringly.

but in the FAQ section it is written that the earlier choices become null and void we are required to fill new choices.... what does it mean?
