I am reappearing in all subjects in class 12th boards exam,as I got comp in chemistry. I had asked a teacher how many jee advanced attempts I have left now. They said 2026 and 2027,both are in my hands. But now jee advanced criteria by iit roorkee confused me as if this is the last attempt. ?

Hello Radhika,

Your teacher is correct.
You are not losing your JEE Advanced attempts .

JEE Advanced allows students to appear in the year they pass Class 12 and the next year.
Attempts depend on the year of passing , not on compartment or improvement.

In your case:

You will pass Class 12 in 2025 after reappearing.
So you can appear in JEE Advanced in:
- 2026
- 2027

Compartment or reappearing in all subjects does not reduce attempts.

So yes, both 2026 and 2027 are in your hands.
