I am registrering for UP State Counselling. I belong from Bihar but completed MBBS from Luckhnow. So While choicing domicile in registration process what I should write. UP or other then UP. If I mentioned UP then in OBC category asking for certificate no issued by the UP only. wht I should choose?

Hello,
Since you belong to Bihar but have completed MBBS from Lucknow, you should select “Other than UP” as your domicile during UP State Counselling registration.
Even though you studied in UP, domicile status depends on your permanent residence, not where you studied.
If you select UP domicile, you’ll be required to upload an UP-issued domicile and OBC certificate, which you don’t have.
So, choose “Other than UP” and apply under the All India (non-domicile) quota in UP counselling.
