I am right now doing articleship for CA Finals .Can I thereafter do MBA from IIM
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
Individuals should enrol for articleship while concurrently preparing for the CA final test, if at all possible.
I believe, however, that you are either uninterested in CA as a subject or believe that articleship plus studies would be a difficult job, and you want to substitute MBA courses for articleship and study.
It all depends on what you want to do with your life and work.
If you are not interested in becoming a CPA, you should focus on earning an MBA from a reputable institution, since pushing yourself to follow a career path you do not desire would be a poor choice.
But keep in mind that you will always be questioned why you left CA, whether it is during your MBA admissions process or during job interviews later on.
If you don't want to remove it off your resume entirely, you'll need to come up with a compelling and legitimate explanation for doing so.
However, if you believe that articleship plus studies will be difficult, remember that many others have done so in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
It's not impossible to do so.
It is possible to accomplish your goals with proper preparation.
However, all of this is incidental.
Before you ask people if you want to be a CA or an MBA, you need first figure it out for yourself.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
Hi Jyoti,
Thanks for approaching us. You can pursue management course at any of the IIMs after completing your CA Finals. To be precise, IIMs do not have any such limitations pertaining to the age or prior professional degree. What they need is an excellent CAT (Common Admission Test) score and your performance in the following admission processes (GD/PI/WAT).
If you are interested to join only IIM, suggest you go through all the IIMs and understand their admission process.
To know more about CAT, please click on the link provided below-
Hope it helps! Best wishes.
