I am studying btech 1st year.so i missed my sem 1-1 exams ,can I write sem 1-2 ...?

Dear aspirant,
As you said that you have missed semester 1 one paper then i would recommend you to give supplement in the next semester along with the papers in the second semester.
Because it is mandatory to clear the exams before you appear for next semester examination.
